Alfa Romeo GTV

Specifikationer

One of the first major projects by the renowned designer Giorgetto Giugiaro (who was working at Bertone at the time) was the design of the legendary Alfa Romeo GT Veloce. This iconic and stylish coupé was produced by Alfa Romeo between 1963 and 1977. The coupés bore the model designation GT (Gran Turismo), while some versions were designated GTV (*Velocebeing Italian for 'fast'). The GTV was available with various four-cylinder Twin Cam engines, including this magnificent 1973 GTV 2000. Originally delivered in the Netherlands, this Alfa Romeo still features its beautiful, original Peruvian Blue metallic paintwork and a dark brown leather interior. The most recent owner has held the car since 1979 and previously carried out a full restoration, preserving as much originality as possible. It is no exaggeration to say that this Italian coupé has been maintained with exceptional love and care. This Alfa Romeo GTV 2000 is in very good (almost perfect) condition. The Peruvian Blue bodywork boasts a beautiful, deep shine and is in excellent condition; the same applies to the various chrome and trim elements. The rubber components and trim details are also in very good condition. Body panel gaps are consistent, and the doors close solidly and securely. The stylish alloy wheels are completely original and in excellent condition. Without a doubt, this Alfa Romeo GTV 2000 is in truly magnificent condition. The interior is also in exceptionally fine condition, remaining largely original and very well preserved. The dark brown leather seats are exceptionally comfortable, and the upholstery remains completely original. While there are naturally slight signs of patina, the condition is impressively well-preserved. The various chrome and trim elements are also in excellent, gleaming condition, as is the headliner. The dashboard is truly stunning to behold, and all instruments function correctly; the wood trim and dashboard components are in exceptional condition. The perfectly fitted wooden steering wheel not only looks magnificent but also offers a solid, confident grip. The radio/cassette player is original and fully functional. Under the hood lies a gem of an engine: the renowned 1,962 cc Alfa Romeo Twin Cam Nord engine, producing approximately 130 hp. It delivers ample power for a driving experience that is both wonderfully comfortable and sporty. This Alfa Romeo GTV is a true driver's car that has clearly been meticulously maintained. The engine was completely rebuilt about 15,000 kilometers ago, and the underbody has received an anti-rust treatment. This GTV 2000 shifts and steers with remarkable smoothness, making it a joy to drive, while the brakes feel firm and solid. For anyone seeking a perfectly maintained Bertone coupé in excellent, honest condition, this car is the ideal choice. Please visit our website at https://www.klassiekaktief.nl.
