My 1988 Lotus Esprit Turbo is for sale. I imported it to Spain a couple of years ago and have enjoyed driving it around America and Europe but I need something more practical now. The car has had 10's of thousands spent on it by me and the previous owner, it has a massive file of receipts for all work and parts purchased. I most recently spent €5500 sorting out a bunch of bugs with electrics and ignition and it runs like a dream. It has had a full engine out service 10,000 mile ago and the transmission was sent to the Netherlands for a complete rebuild. It has had a complete repaint by a Flat Out Customs in Barcelona to correct some poor paint and small cracks in the fiberglass that had emerged over time. The current issues are simple, it needs a new passenger door window motor and the trunk latch has stuck which I will fix. If I do not get to these jobs before I sell it I will give the buyer a €2000 credit / discount for the work needed These cars are great and going up in value as you would know I would be open to trades for something small and sensible. The car is at my house in Italy until October it can be seen near Florence then back in Barcelona
