Citroën Grand C4 Picasso 2.0 16V Exclusive – 7 seats – panoramic roof – tow bar Asking price: €3,995 I have been driving Picasso's for more than 15 years, and this is now my third one. I purchased this 2007 Grand C4 Picasso 2.0 16V Exclusive as a spacious and comfortable long-distance holiday car, as the limited range of our electric car is not always practical for longer journeys in the winter. The current mileage is 218,056 km. I purchased the car at 203,500 km, so we have driven approximately 15,000 km in it, including three holiday trips. Its spacious interior, seven seats, comfortable suspension and large windows make it a particularly pleasant long-distance car. The electronically controlled six-speed transmission shifts well and, according to the official fuel-consumption figures, is more economical than the four-speed conventional automatic that was also available with this engine. We do not necessarily need a second car, which is why I am offering the Picasso for sale. It can be sold, but it does not have to be. I would prefer to find someone who appreciates this type of Picasso and will continue to enjoy it for many years. Reliable 2.0 16V petrol engine This is the 2.0 16V petrol version produced before the introduction of the later 1.6 THP engines. The engine is paired with the electronically controlled six-speed EGS transmission. The timing belt was replaced in 2023 at 188,188 km. According to the maintenance interval, the car can be driven for approximately another 15,000 km before its next scheduled service. A new Dutch MOT inspection (APK) can be arranged upon sale. Recently replaced, repaired or serviced: air pump for the self-levelling rear suspension replaced;main electric-window control switch replaced;new key;brake-pedal sensor replaced;electronic parking-brake switch replaced;rear parking sensor replaced;new summer tyres fitted to alloy wheels;new wheel bolts;wheel alignment carried out;new windscreen wipers;new tailgate gas struts;air-conditioning system recharged;coolant expansion tank and cap replaced;original OEM radio reinstalled;new rear speakers installed;new floor mats, including mats for the third seating row. During my ownership, I have consistently invested in resolving faults and improving the car. Proper and timely maintenance is important with a Grand C4 Picasso. Documentation of the work carried out during my ownership is available. Comprehensive Exclusive specification: seven seats;panoramic roof;automatic climate control;cruise control;self-levelling rear air suspension;rear parking sensors;ISOFIX mounting points for child seats;original OEM radio;electrically operated windows and mirrors;factory-fitted tow bar;maximum braked towing capacity of 1,500 kg. The factory-fitted tow bar is correctly integrated into the car’s electronics. This prevents the electronic faults that can occur when an aftermarket tow bar is not connected correctly. The automatic self-levelling air suspension keeps the car at the correct ride height with different loads. This is particularly useful on holiday trips, with lots of luggage, seven occupants or when towing a trailer. Optionally available separately: used winter tyres on a second set of matching alloy wheels;matching snow chains. Considering its age, the car has some cosmetic signs of use. I will clearly point these out during a viewing so that the buyer receives an honest impression of the car’s condition. The Picasso is still being used, so the mileage may increase slightly.
