I bought the car five years ago. Since then, all suspension control arms, bushings, and gaskets have been replaced. All four shock absorbers are also new; the rear ones were specially ordered from the USA. All interior and exterior door, trunk, and sunroof seals are new—it took me a year to source them all. The front seals were also specially ordered from the USA as genuine parts. The engine runs flawlessly, and the car is in excellent mechanical condition. I have invoices—including from BMW—listing all replaced parts as proof of the work performed. At the time of purchase, the car had some rust on the rear right door due to a scratch sustained back in 1992, according to the service book. There were also 10 cm² patches of rust under the front fenders, which have been removed and repaired. Otherwise, the bodywork is flawless and has been professionally repainted in its original color. The car comes with two sets of wheels; the ones currently fitted are Mahle wheels with specific dimensions and period-correct tires. The car is 100% original, and all work was done using genuine parts ordered from BMW or specialized BMW parts suppliers worldwide. The car is 95% complete, as the interior still requires a little attention; I have partially reupholstered the seats using the car's original material. The headliner has been redone using original BMW material. Interior chrome parts have been refurbished, and the front bumper features new, genuine chrome components. As it is not yet 100% finished, the car has not been registered; it is being sold with its original Dutch documents.
